Payton Blyth

With over 16 years of dance experience, I have trained and competed in tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, ballet, and novelty. Throughout my competitive career, I received multiple scholarships, including special awards in tap and novelty. I’ve also had the pleasure of attending workshops with renowned choreographer Lauren Ritchie, further expanding my knowledge and love of dance.

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Elementary Education at the University of Alberta and am excited to be entering my third year with Stageworks. As a choreographer, I have received multiple choreography awards, including an Overall Choreography of the Day award, with my routines earning finalist and overall placements at competitions. I have also had the privilege of teaching children with disabilities, which has strengthened my passion for creating an inclusive and supportive environment.

I love helping dancers build confidence, express themselves through movement, and discover a lifelong love of dance!
