McKayla Chretien

With 21 years of dance training and 10 years of teaching experience, Mckayla is passionate about developing technically strong, confident, and expressive dancers. She specializes in jazz and contemporary training while working with students of all ages and experience levels.

Throughout her dance journey, Mckayla has trained in a variety of dance styles and has had the opportunity to take classes on Broadway in New York City, perform in the Disneyland Parade, and dance in the Stars at Sea program with Royal Caribbean Cruises. These experiences have helped shape her approach to teaching and continue to inspire her choreography and classroom instruction.

Mckayla holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education from Concordia University of Edmonton. In addition to teaching dance, she is an elementary school teacher, bringing creativity, patience, and a strong educational foundation to every class she teaches. She is committed to fostering a positive, supportive environment where dancers are encouraged to grow in both confidence and technical excellence.
